About

The Institute of American Music Foundation (IAMF) is a non-profit organization that focuses on three primary purposes; 1) Traditional Music and Dance Outreach; 2) Live Music Service; and 3) Music Education. As part of its first purpose, IAMF serves the local community via monthly barn dances. These events are designed to bring the community together in a social environment that is open to all people of all ages, genders, races, and religious (or non-religious) backgrounds. As part of its second purpose, IAMF serves the regional community by acting as an agent providing live music for various types of events. And as part of its third purpose, IAMF participates in music education by providing books (print and digital products), videos, and other media to help teachers and students in the music education process.
